Phil Taylor favourite to beat Barneveld in charity darts match

| 19.03.2020

Sport may be on the backburner but that isn’t stopping Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld stepping up to the plate, or rather the oche, in the name of charity.

The two darting legends will reportedly go head-to-head from the comfort of their own front rooms in a charity match set to be streamed live on Facebook.

Our traders make The Power an odds-on shot at 4/7 to lift the inaugural living room crown, with Barneveld back at 11/8 to repeat his 2007 World Championship heroics.

We’re also happy to report that any profits we make from bets taken on the match will also go to charity.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It seems just about everyone is craving live sport and two of the most decorated names in darts history may be about to deliver exactly that from their own front rooms.”

“Taylor and Barney have had some ding-dong battles over the years and we have The Power priced as favourite to get one over on his old enemy, with all profits going to a good cause.”
