The titles have already been decided in Spain, Germany and France, but AC Milan and Inter are fighting it out for the Scudetto in Serie A.

Milan top the table by two points with three games remaining, but could find themselves in second spot when arch rivals Inter host Empoli on Friday night.

We have four European football tips from Sunday’s games in Serie A and LaLiga, starting with the Madrid derby in which Atletico are the 21/20 favourites to beat the champions.

Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid

The derby takes place against the backdrop of Real Madrid’s sensational late comeback against Manchester City in reaching the Champions League final and having already wrapped up the title, Carlo Ancelotti may be tempted to rest some players for the short trip to the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico have refused to give their neighbours a guard of honour to recognise their achievement in winning LaLiga for a record-extending 35th time so the fixture has already been given added spice.

Diego Simeone’s side are in fourth spot, three points clear of fifth-placed Betis, and although their goal differences are the same, Atletico’s superior head-to-head record means they cannot be overtaken this weekend.

Real won the reverse fixture 2-0 in December and their away record has been excellent this season (W13 D2 L2), so they look tempting at 5/2, but with doubts surrounding their starting XI, we’ll go for a draw as the first of our European football tips at 12/5 which has been the case in three of the last four seasons in this fixture.

Villarreal v Sevilla

Villarreal were starting to dream of a Champions League final when they took a 2-0 half-time lead against Liverpool to level the tie, but goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli had a 45 minutes to forget as the Reds went through 5-2 on aggregate.

The Yellow Submarine return to league action not even assured of a place in Europe next season, so they must lick their wounds and get on with the job of beating Sevilla, who could secure a top-four place this weekend with a victory coupled with defeat for Betis against Barcelona.

Unai Emery’s side have been strong at home this season (W10 D5 L2), but they have yet to beat any of the top three season, including Sevilla, who won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Andalucia.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have drawn five of their last seven away from home and that looks the way to go at 23/10 as the last of our Liga betting tips.

Verona v AC Milan

Milan are just three games away from a first Scudetto in 11 years but first they have to negotiate a tough clash with Verona, who recently won 2-1 at Atalanta and still have a chance of qualifying for next season’s Europa League.

However, Stefano Pioli’s side have been almost unbeatable away from home this season, winning 12 and drawing four of their 17 games, and they came back from two goals down to beat Verona 3-2 in the reverse fixture.

Verona have the second best both teams to score record in Serie A, so for the next of our European football tips, we’ll go for the visitors to win and concede at 11/5.

Venezia v Bologna

Defeat for Venezia this weekend will ensure an immediate return to Serie B and 10 successive defeats suggest that will be the outcome on Sunday.

They have shown some spirit lately and were less than 15 minutes away from getting a draw at Juventus last week, and one of their five wins this season came against Bologna.

However, Bologna are in the middle of an impressive six-match unbeaten run which included a shock 2-1 win against title hopefuls Inter, and draws with leaders Milan, Juventus and Roma, so the visitors to win at 13/10 wraps up our European football tips.
