Bundesliga betting tips and odds

The Bundesliga returns following the international break and with table-toppers Bayern Munich not in action until Sunday, some of the chasing pack have the chance to put some pressure on the perennial champions.

One of those sides is Borussia Dortmund, whose clash with Mainz is one of the fixtures we have picked out for our Bundesliga betting tips.

There are other vital match-ups towards the top of the division we’ll preview but let’s begin at the Signal Iduna Park.

Borussia Dortmund vs Mainz (Sat, 14:30)

Dortmund are only one point behind Munich in the standings and are the 2/5 favourites for victory as they look to keep tabs on their long-time rivals.

Visitors Mainz have not won in three and are 13/2 to cause a surprise while a share of the points is chalked up at 19/5 in our Bundesliga odds.

Goals were in abundance for Dortmund in the early stages of the season but injury to star man Erling Haaland has curtailed their creative juices slightly of late.

Under 2.5 Dortmund goals can be found at 8/13 while it is 8/5 for Dortmund to win to nil in our Bundesliga betting tips.

If we flip that around, Mainz to keep a clean sheet is 8/1, which isn’t out of the question for the joint-best defence in the division that has only conceded five goals all season.

Freiburg vs RB Leipzig (Sat, 14:30)

The hosts are enjoying their best start to a Bundesliga season under manager Christian Streich and fourth-placed Freiburg are the only undefeated team left in the division.

Only one point off top spot, they are 29/20 to record the victory that would put them, temporarily at least, in pole position.

However, it is visitors Leipzig who are the 17/20 favourites for this one as they look to turn around a slow start to the campaign.

Jesse Marsch, RB Leipzig, Bundesliga betting tips

Jesse Marsch’s side have hammered home nine unanswered goals in back-to-back league victories as the tide begins to turn.

Christopher Nkunku has helped himself to a brace in each of those contests and he is 22/1 to score two or more while he can be backed at 11/4 in a #GetAPrice special to provide an assist from midfield.

Union Berlin vs Wolfsburg (Sat, 14:30)

Wolfsburg started the season at a rate of knots, winning their first four, but they have picked up just one point from their last three.

There is only one point between Mark Van Bommel’s side and seventh-place Union Berlin and that is reflected in the betting as it is 33/20 for the pair in this one.

Meanwhile, a draw can be found at 11/5 in our Bundesliga odds.

Two of the last three meetings have ended 2-2 and that is available at 12/1 while both teams to score is a real possibility here at 4/5.

Wolfsburg have lost their last two Bundesliga games 3-1 and it is 8/5 for Union Berlin to continue that trend and score two or more in our Bundesliga betting tips.
