Bundesliga Betting Tips: Can Dortmund keep the pressure on Bayern?

The Bundesliga continues this weekend with another full slate of matches, including Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund.
Everything remains finely poised at both ends of the table after a successful resumption of the league last weekend. Now teams will be looking to kick-on as they bid to end the season on a high.

Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund (Sat, 14:30)
Dortmund resumed their title challenge with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Schalke last week, and while that was a nice way to blow off the cobwebs, this looks an altogether trickier test.
Wolfsburg boast one of the league’s meanest defences and have their sights firmly set on a Europa League spot, not that anyone knows when next season’s Europa League will begin.
The hosts are 16/5 for all three points, while Dortmund, who have won eight of the last nine clashes between the pair, are the obvious favourites at 4/5. Our traders have the Draw priced up at 14/5.
Die Wolfe may have a defence pricklier than one of Erling Haaland’s interviews, but their forwards aren’t quite as prolific as the Norwegian hitman. They’ve scored 36 goals this term and have drawn a blank in their last six matches with BvB.
Jadon Sancho and co. are down at 5/2 to Win to Nil, with Haaland a 5/6 shot to score Anytime. Raphael Guerreiro netted twice against Schalke last week and is 16/5 to bag again.
Borussia Monchengladbach v Bayer Leverkusen (Sat, 14:30)
Don’t rule out either of these two for the title just yet. Monchengladbach are six points off Bayern in third, while Leverkusen are two points further back in fifth and just a place off RB Leipzig in fourth.
Both sides resumed their good form last week, with Die Fohlen seeing off Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 and Bayer putting four past Werder Bremen in a comprehensive 4-1 victory.
Surprisingly enough there’s not much to choose between the sides here either. The visitors are narrow 7/4 favourites, although you can get 7/5 about Monchengladbach and 13/5 for the Draw.
There’s little to split the two sides, and with 101 goals between them in the league this season, a high-scoring 2-2 stalemate comes in at 9/1. Elsewhere, Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals is 8/11.
Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt (Sat, 17:30)
Bayern made hard work of beating Union Berlin on Sunday, but they’ll be confident of seeing off a Frankfurt side who have won just three league matches since a surprise 5-1 demolition of Die Roten in November.
The odds reflect that assumption, with Hans Flick’s men odds-on at 2/13, against 16/1 for the visitors and 7/1 for the Draw. Like title rivals Dortmund, Bayern are much more likely to Win to Nil, which is 11/10.
Be that as it may, it’s the goalscorer markets which are of more interest in this one. Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring last week and is 9/5 to do so again here, while Serge Gnabry is a 21/20 chance Anytime.
Best of the Rest
Freiburg (23/20) will look to heap more misery on Werder Bremen (11/5) when they meet at 14:30, while Paderborn (21/20) versus Hoffenheim (11/10) completes Saturday’s line-up.
Onto Sunday and Augsburg (5/2) will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s narrow defeat to Wolfsburg when they visit Schalke (21/20) at 12:30.
Then later, relegation-threatened Mainz (11/2) host Leipzig (4/9) at 14:30 before FC Koln (4/5) face Fortuna Dusseldorf (13/4) in the final match of the weekend at 17:00.
