PSG v Manchester City betting tips: Pep troops favourites
PSG v Manchester City betting tips and odds
The 4/1 joint favourites to win the Champions League go head to head in Group A on Tuesday night when Manchester City travel to PSG.
City thrashed Leipzig 6-3 in their group opener and defeated defending European champions Chelsea 1-0 at the weekend so they are 13/10 favourites to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s side who started the group stage with an unconvincing 1-1 draw at Club Brugge.
The teams met in the semi-finals of last season’s competition so let’s look at some of the markets and odds in our PSG v Manchester City betting tips.
City moved up to second in the Premier League table with a thoroughly deserved victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and they will be full of confidence having beaten the French giants home and away last season.
PSG have made a superb start to the Ligue 1 season with eight successive victories putting them nine points clear at the top of the table but they are 19/10 underdogs to win Tuesday’s game and the draw is available at 13/5.
The French side made some incredible signings during the summer transfer window, with Lionel Messi topping the lot, but City are 27/10 to win and concede as they did last season when they fought back from a goal down at half-time to post a 2-1 win.
Both legs of the semi-final saw the home team lead inside a quarter of an hour, so PSG are 6/1 to be ahead after 15 minutes, with City priced at 24/5 in the same market.
In our #GetAPrice specials, Pep Guardiola’s side are 10/3 to win or draw, both teams to score in the second half and over 2.5 goals in the match in our PSG v Manchester City betting tips.
City’s fluid attack means they may not always play with a traditional centre forward.
Saturday’s win saw Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus, Jack Grealish, Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva frequently interchanging positions, all held together by Rodri in a holding midfield role.

Pochettino played a 4-3-3 in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Montpellier in which Kylian Mbappe spearheaded the attack flanked by Neymar and Angel di Maria in the absence of Messi, with Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye and Ander Herrera in midfield.
Almost every player from these teams looks capable of scoring, but Messi is the 4/1 favourite to break the deadlock even though he is doubtful with a knee injury.
Riyad Mahrez scored three of City’s four goals in their 4-1 aggregate win last season and is 13/2 to grab the opener or 23/10 to get on the scoresheet in our PSG v Manchester City betting tips.
Raheem Sterling, like Mahrez a substitute on Saturday, is 6/1 and 11/5 in both markets, while Jesus is 13/2 and 23/10.

Mbappe and Neymar are available at 9/2 and 5/1 in the first goalscorer market or 13/8 and 9/5 to find the net any time.
Herrera scored the opener in Belgium to make it four goals in seven games and the midfielder is 12/1 and 4/1 in both options, while Gueye is 6/1 to score as he did against Montpellier.
Roving full-back Achraf Hakimi, whose double sealed a 2-1 win at Metz last Wednesday, is 11/1 and 7/2 in the two markets.
