Norwich v Watford betting tips: Canaries look to get off mark
Published:Norwich v Watford betting tips and odds
Promoted sides Norwich and Watford hope to give their Premier League campaigns a shot in the arm when they meet at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Canaries have not taken a point from a very tough opening four games, but they are 6/5 to get off the mark by defeating the Hornets who have lost their last three games without scoring.
City are facing just one of the traditional top six in their next 10 games so they have a chance to start climbing the table as we look at some of the odds in our Norwich v Watford betting tips.
Match Odds
Watford beat Norwich 1-0 in both of last seasonβs Championship games and are 12/5 to win again, 19/4 to win to nil and 17/2 to do so by the same scoreline.
However, both clubs made wholesale changes to their squads during the summer so those results are unlikely to have much bearing on the outcome.
Norwich were given the runaround by Arsenal at the weekend despite only losing 1-0 at the Emirates which was their 14th successive defeat in the Premier League.

The Canaries havenβt been playing too badly and were unlucky to lose to Leicester after which manager Daniel Farke claimed his side were denied a point by a βVAR mistakeβ which denied Kenny McLean an equaliser.
With Cityβs opponents struggling to find the net, at least one team not to score is priced at 20/23 and a win to nil for the hosts is 13/5.
The match to end all square is priced at 11/5, a goalless draw is available at 15/2 and just one team to score can be backed at 13/10 as one of our Norwich v Watford betting tips.
Talking Tactics
Farke made four changes at the Emirates, handing a debut to teenage centre-back Andrew Omobamidele who had made his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland during the international break.
The German deployed a 4-3-3 in north London with Teemu Pukki supported by Christos Tzolis and Kieran Dowell in attack.
Munoz once again went with a 4-1-4-1 for the defeat by Wolves, with Josh King leading the line and Peter Etebo in the holding role behind Juraj Kucka, Moussa Sissoko, Ismaila Sarr and Emmanuel Dennis.
Goalscorer Odds
Norwich have scored just once this season, a penalty converted by Pukki in the defeat by Leicester and the Finn is comfortably the 10/3 favourite to get the gameβs first goal and 7/5 to find the net any time.
Midfielder Lukas Rupp, like Pukki, has taken an average 1.5 shots per game this season and is 18/1 to break the deadlock or 15/2 to score.
Sarr is 6/1 to draw first blood, just ahead of 13/2 shot King, who is 14/5 to score any time, while Dennis is 15/2 and 16/5 in both markets.
