A COSTLY WEEKEND FOR ARSENAL AND LIVERPOOL was music to the ears of one plucky Ladbrokes punter.
With upsets coming at Anfield and the Emirates, both of which had major implications on the title race, the bookies have revealed one punter landed arguably one of the best accumulators of the season so far, having correctly predicted wins for Aston Villa (9/1), Crystal Palace (12/1), Fulham (9/5) in the Premier League.
And if that wasn’t enough, the customer added a further stroke of genius to their bet, by backing Ross County to throw a huge spanner in Rangers’ title charge at 10/1… turning £5 into a staggering £20,020 in the process.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Not many would’ve seen Sunday’s Premier League games panning out the way they did, let alone the drama up in Scotland… but one punter was bang on the money across the four games in question, and is a whopping £20k better off as a result.”
