Leeds to win the Premier League over Liverpool and Manchester City?

Amazingly, more bets have been placed on Leeds United winning the Premier League this season than Liverpool retaining their title, according to our traders.
With just over a week to go until the start of the new season, we can reveal the most popular picks with punters to top the table come May in the English top-flight.
Remarkably it’s Chelsea and Arsenal who top the popularity charts, with 40% of all bets placed so far being on the two teams combined. The Blues are 11/1 to win the league with Arsenal priced at 40/1.
However, last season’s winners Liverpool are 2/1 to win the title again and have received just 9.8% of punters’ backing, which is a lower figure than those that have backed on Leeds (10.7%).
Marcelo Bielsa’s men are 150/1 to win the Premier League on their return after a sixteen-year exodus.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters are clearly going for value when it comes to picking this season’s Premier League winner with plenty avoiding the likes of Liverpool and Man City in favour of Chelsea, Arsenal and even Leeds.”
