Premier League: Pre-season relegation predictions

We have revealed customers’ pre-season predictions on who’d find themselves in the relegation zone at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
According to bets placed on our Premier League relegation market earlier in the season, Brighton were the most popular pick with punters for the drop and could still do so, at odds of 5/2.
Elsewhere, Newcastle were second in the popularity charts to finish in the bottom three following Steve Bruce’s arrival, while remarkably Sheffield United were the third-most popular side for relegation.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters were clearly expecting bigger and better things from Norwich back at the start of the season, while Newcastle and Sheffield United were hotly tipped to go down.”
