Paul Townend has previewed his runners with Ladbrokes ahead of three races at Fairyhouse on Saturday afternoon.

Miss Manzor – 12.12 Fairyhouse

She is a nice filly who ran ok at Leopardstown but was a winner in her native France before we got her. I think she will step up here. She has come on plenty for that run on St Stephen’s Day. Our other runner here, Karia Des Blaises ran in the same race finishing a few lengths behind us. Both of ours will step forward. It looks a decent contest and it is interesting that Mark Walsh sides with Henry De Bromhead’s Nara instead of Trustyourinstinct. The latter was a winner twice on the flat. Jo Murphy’s horse, Immutable, also brings a nice level of form to this. I think there will be plenty of winners coming out of this. I think our level of experience over hurdles could stand for a lot.

Uncle Phil – 1.57 Fairyhouse

I ride Uncle Phil in the big handicap chase over 2m1f. He had a very nice run behind Imagine at Punchestown back in November. The ground is probably an issue for him and I would like it to be as dry as it could be. It’s a competitive race with 11 runners going for a huge pot. Letsbeclearaboutit’s form behind I Am Maximus and Found A Fifty looks very strong. Found A Fifty went on and won the Grade 1 over Christmas beating the likes of Facile Vega. He carries plenty of weight but he looks to be an improving novice and will take a bit of beating here. Our lad jumps well, it will get him a long way. He is unexposed but he would just want drier ground.

Hunters Yarn – 2.32 Fairyhouse

Hunters Yarn is my best chance today. It looked like he was going to win over course and distance on his last run when he fell at the last. Hopefully that hasn’t left too much of an impact on him. He seems to have schooled well since that. I thought he was going to be a comfortable winner on the day and I hope we can right that wrong here. Path D’oroux is coming here off the back of a fall at Leopardstown over Christmas but he brings alot of experience to the table and a good rating of 136 so he is going to set the standard.
