Ladbrokes shares its Kylian Mbappe odds, looking at which club the French winger could be playing for next after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

Today, it was reported that Mbappe told PSG’s board that he intends on leaving the club this summer, where he’ll then become a free agent on July 1.

Real Madrid are said to be ‘totally confident’ that Mbappe joins them, but what if the Frenchman rejects Los Blancos and opts to join another club? Ladbrokes takes you through the options.

Kylian Mbappe odds

Real Madrid – 1/8

The front-runners to sign Mbappe, of course, are Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants have been targeting Mbappe for several years, but 2024 could finally be the year they get their man.

The low odds reflect the likelihood that Mbappe, according to reports and just the general feeling within football, will be playing his football for Real Madrid next season, joining up with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.

Any Saudi Pro League Club – 16/1

Next up in the Kylian Mbappe odds is any club from the Saudi Arabian Pro League, at 16/1.

Al Hilal made a huge offer to PSG and Mbappe last year, trying to tempt the forward to join their project. However, he rejected their approaches and opted to remain in France, but could that be different this year?

The clubs owned by the Saudi PIF will likely be where Mbappe lands, if he does move to the country, with those clubs being able to afford the huge wages that it could take to get the 2018 World Cup winner to leave Europe.

Mbappe will want to remain playing in Europe in the Champions League, so the offer from Saudi Arabia would have to be record-breaking for him to even consider the option.

Liverpool – 16/1

Joint-second favourites to sign Mbappe next are Liverpool, also priced at 16/1.

Liverpool have long been interested in signing Mbappe, including when he was a teenager playing for Monaco in 2017. However, a deal never materialised.

Jurgen Klopp has even spoken about the club being interested in signing the Frenchman, but noted that a deal was simply far too expensive to come to fruition.

However, with Klopp leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, the club’s board may look at the Mbappe deal once again, seeing it as a perfect opportunity to prove to the world that despite losing their world class coach, they want to stay at the top of the European game.

Particularly if Mohamed Salah leaves, with Saudi Arabia expected to come calling once again, the Reds could see Mbappe as the only suitable replacement, and fans likely wouldn’t accept anything less.

Anfield

Barcelona – 25/1

Mbappe has snubbed Real Madrid once before, opting to remain with PSG in 2022. However, could he break Los Blancos hearts once again by opting to join their arch rivals, Barcelona.

The 2015 Champions League winners almost definitely wouldn’t be able to afford Mbappe’s wages, but if they manage to sell lots of top players, with Frenkie De Jong potentially on the transfer list, then perhaps they could pull it off.

Mbappe would be exactly what Barcelona need, a star player in attack who could help take the club back to the top of European football, a project that the French winger would likely adore being at the forefront of.

Bayern Munich – 25/1

Joint with Barcelona in the Kylian Mbappe odds are Bayern Munich. The German club aren’t short of cash, as shown by the deal to bring Harry Kane to the Bundesliga last year, so a move for the Frenchman could be on the cards.

However, would Mbappe really want to ditch one one-team league for another?

In saying that, Bayern aren’t in the best form right now, and could actually miss out on the German top-flight to Bayer Leverkusen, perhaps Mbappe will use the opportunity to show how good he really is, taking his new club right to the top of domestic and European football once again.

Manchester City – 25/1

The prospect of Mbappe playing for Manchester City is scary for the rest of the Premier League.

One thing we never saw throughout their careers was Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo playing for the same team, but could we witness Mbappe and Erling Haaland both lining up for Man City next year?

The chances are slim, in truth. However, if anyone could tempt Mbappe to join the club it’d be Pep Guardiola. The French winger would relish the opportunity to learn from the best coach in world football right now, whilst also playing in the most competitive league too.

Arsenal – 33/1

The final team to feature on this list are the side that have actually been linked with Mbappe the most recently, with the exception of Real Madrid.

This week, it was reported that Mbappe wants to follow in Thierry Henry’s footsteps, and would consider a move to Arsenal, his idol’s former club.

A deal would be hard to pull off, and would go against much of what Mikel Arteta’s project has been trying to achieve. However, when given the chance to sign the world’s best player, you don’t really say no.
