Lewis offers punters second chance at the Grand Slam of Darts

Money back on losing Win Single outright bets if Adrian Lewis reaches the Final

Adrian Lewis is the reigning PDC world champion and this fact could help punters in the Grand Slam of Darts.

Ladbrokes are running a specific offer that losing tournament win bets on all players will be refunded if Lewis reaches the final of the Grand Slam of Darts.

Lewis has already proved his ability to cope with the pressure of starring on the big stage with his 7-5 victory over Gary Anderson at Alexandra Palace, making him the youngest ever winner of the tournament.

He has followed up on this victory with some more solid results in 2011 to show that he has retained his good form when it matters in the larger tournaments on the darts circuit.

Lewis was beaten in the final of the European Championships by Phil Taylor in July and just prior to this lost to Anderson in the final of the Premier League.

With Taylor the big favourite in the Grand Slam of Darts betting, the offer on Lewis means that punters fancying more of a longshot to triumph effectively have a double chance of not losing their stake if their chosen player does not live up to expectations.

Anderson is another form player of 2011 and at 6/1 could be the value option in the darts betting.

Broken down, the offer means that if Anderson is backed to win the Grand Slam of Darts, but gets knocked out, punters will be handed their stake money back if Lewis does go on to reach the final.

The Grand Slam of Darts separates players down into eight groups of four players, with the top two from each progressing into a knockout structure.

Players from both organisations of darts, the BDO and PDC, compete in the Grand Slam of Darts and this helps to make the event even more unique.
