In the latest exclusive blog with Marc Ó Sé blog, the Ladbrokes ambassador says he expects to see a draw between Tyrone and Monoghan in the National Football League with his previews for March 16 and 17’s action.

Galway v Dublin

After a poor start to the league, Galway could leapfrog Dublin if they can beat them in Pearse Stadium at 3.15pm today. Although, if Roscommon and Monaghan win their respective matches, Galway could find themselves in a relegation battle if they lose. If a certain Shane Walsh and Damien Comier were available, Galway will have a great chance at 5/2. That said the Dubs are on a role and are hard to overlook.

Tyrone v Monoghan

Tyrone v Monaghan (7.30pm) is such a difficult game to call. Any time these teams go at it, there is very little between them. Tyrone were poor against Kerry in Killarney but Darragh Canavan was well below par. After his Sigerson Cup victory he was clearly tired which is understandable so I expect a huge improvement from him. You can never write Monaghan off as we have seen down through the years. With the exception of Kerry, they have the longest run in Division 1 and they will fight tooth and nail to hold on to that status. I expect this game to be really tight and I am backing the draw at 15/2.

Kerry v Roscommon & Mayo v Derry

On Sunday, I don’t see any upsets on the cards with Kerry and Derry looking like they will see off Roscommon and Mayo. Roscommon have been described as the Yo-yo county these last few years with their promotions and demotions from Division 1 and 2. Davy Burke will be going all out to get two points here and bring the Rossies up to five points on the table. They have real match winners on the team but they simply died a death against Mayo in the second half in the last round. They will need to see huge improvements and be involved going down the stretch but I don’t see that happening. Kerry will have too much for them.

A win for Derry will see them make the National League Final, something Micky Harte will really want for his men. Winning finals at Croke Park gives teams the confidence they need to go on and potentially win Sam Maguire. It would also allow Mickey to rest players for the final round of the League so I find it hard to see anything but a Derry win here at 4/7.
