The magnificent seven: Premier League bosses priced up for PSG gig
Published:Seven Premier League managers are in the running for the PSG (Paris-Saint Germain) job, according to our football traders.
After their Champions League exit, the Ligue 1 giants look set to part ways with Unai Emery at the end of the season.
And the bookies are expecting PSG chiefs to poach a coach from England with Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte 5/1 favourites for the job.
Arsene Wenger is a 6/1 shot to swap London for Paris, making him just as likely as Mauricio Pochettino to be appointed in the French capital.
Elsewhere, 16/1 says Jurgen Klopp replaces Emery, while Pep Guardiola (20/1) and Rafa Benitez (25/1) round out the betting respectively.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “PSG will almost certainly look to make a statement in the dugout at the end of the season, and there’s every chance a Premier League giant could suffer as a result of it.”
Who will it be?
Jose Mourinho – 5/1
Antonio Conte – 5/1
Arsene Wenger – 6/1
Mauricio Pochettino – 6/1
Jurgen Klopp – 16/1
Pep Guardiola – 20/1
(Rafa Benitez – 25/1
