UK General Election odds: Conservatives odds-on to lose more than 200 seats

THE CONSERVATIVES ARE ODDS-ON TO LOSE more than 200 seats in July's General Election.

Following Rishi Sunak's surprise announcement earlier this week, the bookies have priced the most likely outcome for the Tories, who are just 4/9 to lose 201 or more seats.

That paves the way for the most likely outcome of the election, which is a Labour Majority - currently priced at 1/7, while Sunak himself is 1/12 to be replaced as Conservative leader before the end of the year.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "All the signs are pointing towards a brutal defeat for the Conservatives in July's election... with a 200+ seat loss the most likely outcome, as things stand."
