What to look forward to this Bank Holiday Weekend?

The weather may be getting warmer as we approach this Spring Bank Holiday but there’s still so much sport on offer if you don’t fancy a weekend away.
We take a look at some of the best action from around the sporting world…
Championship Play-Off Final
The domestic football season is coming to a close but you’ve still arguably got the most important if not the most lucrative games still undecided.
Saturday evening begins with the first play-off final of a Bank Holiday triple-header. The Championship decider, otherwise known as the ‘richest game in football’ opens this eclectic weekend of sport.
Fulham and Aston Villa contest this one. Both sides won tight semi-finals to set-up this Wembley showpiece.
This game should be no different.
The match to feature Under 0.5 goals is 13/2. However, these two sides feature some top marksman. Villa’s Lewis Grabban is 11/5 to add to his 20 goal haul. Aleksandar Mitrovic is 7/1 to score two more for the Cottagers.
Fulham finished third with the record number of points without getting promoted and shade the betting at 4/6 favourites. Villa stands a 6/5 chance to reach the Premier League.
Champions League Final
Following straight on is the Champions League final in Kiev. Real Madrid are vying for their third-successive crown and they face a Mohamed Salah-inspired Liverpool.
Jürgen Klopp’s already made two finals with Liverpool but is aiming to win his first piece of silverware at Anfield in the biggest final of the lot!
Real Madrid are 8/11 to lift the trophy with Liverpool at evens. Mo Salah to continue his fine season in front of goal is 19/20 anytime. Sergio Ramos, who’s scored in two of the last three finals is at 12/1 anytime.
England v Pakistan: First Test
Over in cricket England will continue the first test against Pakistan at Lords. We will be well into the thick of it when the weekend arrives as we get a clearer picture of who has the upper-hand.
In 2016 a four-match test series was drawn 2-2 between the two sides. A repeat of this result over the two tests is 11/4. However, Pakistan to secure the first-test victory is 4/1.
England are favourites on home-soil at 4/9 to take the series.
Monaco Grand Prix
Formula One returns to this prestigious circuit this weekend for the iconic Monaco street-race.
Lewis Hamilton is looking to make it three victories in a row on Sunday. This would further banish second-placed Sebastien Vettel from his rear-view mirror. Hamilton is 22/1 to be ‘King of the road’ and secure pole, fastest lap and victory. Meanwhile, Vettel stands at 7/4 for the race win.
The Monaco weekend is as glitzy as it gets in Formula One and we’re excited to see who puts on a show.
Roll on Roland Garros
When the clay court season finally passes through Paris you get a distinct whiff of summer in the air. The French Open returns again on Sunday with all eyes on Rafael Nadal to continue his overwhelming dominance.
The ‘King of Clay’ is as short as 4/9 to take his eleventh title at Roland Garros. Alexander Zverev, 7/1 and Dominic Thiem, 9/1 are the best of the rest.
Over in the women’s draw world number one Simona Halep is an 11/2. But her conqueror in last weeks’ Italian Open Elina Svitolina stands at 6/1.
Veterans Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams are due to make a come-back to Grand Slam tennis and are 11/1 and 12/1 respectively.
