Ladbrokes looks at the Carabao Cup final betting odds from Ladbrokes ahead of the game between Chelsea and Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Chelsea went into their semi-final second-leg against Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge 1-0 down, but dispatched of their Championship opposition 6-1 to progress to the first domestic final of the 2023/24 season.

Liverpool, on the other hand, went to Craven Cottage to face Fulham in the second-leg of their semi-final with a 2-1 advantage, and managed to progress to the final by holding the Cottagers to a 1-1 draw on January 24.

So, we now know that in a repeat from 2022, the 2024 Carabao Cup will be contested between Liverpool and Chelsea, but which team is the favourite to walk out of Wembley with yet another domestic cup trophy?

Carabao Cup final betting odds

Considering that they’re sitting at the top of the Premier League, it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that the bookies have priced Liverpool as the favourites at 4/7 to win the final next month.

Chelsea are priced at 13/10, so it’s clear that Ladbrokes feel as if the Blues are too early in their project to pose a problem to  this Liverpool side that, despite going through a midfield overhaul this summer, look like the real deal.

  • Liverpool to win the Carabao Cup – 4/7
  • Chelsea to win the Carabao Cup – 13/10

Liverpool will be hoping that star men Darwin Nunez, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah are back for the final, but given the nature of their injuries, there’s a chance that all three are deemed not fit enough to feature in London this weekend.

Chelsea are almost definitely going to be without some key men too, including their club captain Reece James set to fail in his race to be fit for the final, as was expected last month.

Liverpool winning the Carabao Cup final could be their first step towards winning a historic quadruple. Klopp’s side are also the favourites to win the Europa League, at the price of 7/4, with that being the only trophy the German manager hasn’t won with the club.

While not the outright favourites, Ladbrokes has priced Liverpool as the second favourites to win both the FA Cup, at the price of 10/3, and also the Premier League at 7/4.
