How Twitter reacted to Leeds sacking Uwe Rosler
Published:Uwe Rosler has been sacked as Leeds United manager, ending his spell at Elland Road after only 12 games.
The decision comes after three losses in a row left the side 18th in the Championship, in a season where they are yet to win at home.
This is the fifth manager Leeds have gone through in two years, highlighting the sack-happy nature of owner Massimo Cellino.
At his previous club, Cagliari, the Italian went through 36 managers in 22 years, and fans are less than happy with him.
After the news broke, Leeds fans, and others, took to Twitter to voice their opinions. Here’s the best of that outpouring:
I dunno who’s the bigger joke, Massimo Cellino for his shambolic ownership and operation of @LUFC or us fans for continuing to support this.

Of course, the inevitable petition started.

The anger directed at Cellino was only matched by the sympathy aimed at Rosler.
I would like to wish Uwe Rosler all the best in his future. No one can work under Cellino. — LUFC Away Days (@LUFCAway) October 19, 2015
With Steve Evans reportedly the man to take over at Elland Road, the Twittersphere were quick to express their views on the former Rotherham manager.

Some even threatened to change allegiance.

Or worse.

Reaction to Evans’ imminent appointment has been wholeheartedly negative, but some tried to look on the bright side.

And some were looking ahead to the preseason tour, if Evans makes it that far.
Steve Evans is taking us to Benidorm for preseason, and I for one can’t wait.
