After a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brazil on Saturday, Ladbrokes is back for the England v Belgium betting tips and predictions.

The friendly presents Gareth Southgate with his final opportunity to test out players, formations and tactics before he has to announce his squad for Euro 2024, which is due to take place in Germany later this summer.

However, the England boss is without star men Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Kyle Walker, all of whom have withdrawn from the squad due to injury.

With that in mind, Ladbrokes looks forward to the fixture at Wembley Stadium tomorrow night by sharing its England v Belgium betting tips and predictions.

England v Belgium betting tips and predictions

England and Belgium to draw @ 13/5

The international break in March is more about rhythm than it is about results, so Gareth Southgate will have been considerably more focused on his side’s performance against Brazil on Saturday, rather than the fact that they lost to the five-time World Cup winners.

Taking that into account, we’re predicting that England also won’t beat Belgium tomorrow night, with a draw our pick for the final friendly the Three Lions will play during this international break.

Both teams are without arguably their best players, with Harry Kane and Kevin De Bruyne both absent through injury, so expect both nations to field weaker sides than you’d expect to see of them during the latter part of Euro 2024.

That could have an impact on the result too, so with odds of 13/5, we’re going with a draw between England and Belgium as part of our betting tips and predictions.

Ivan Toney to score @ 29/20

As noted, Kane withdrew from the England squad with an ankle injury, failing to feature against Brazil on Saturday, with Ollie Watkins instead leading the line.

Ivan Toney was on the bench for the game, and didn’t come on, but we’re expecting him to start from the off against Belgium on Tuesday. That’s not all, but we’re also pegging the Brentford man to find the back of the net, with odds of 29/20.

Southgate will want to try out a different style of attacker against Belgium, so we’re predicting that Tone gets the nod here. He’s been in top form for his club since returning from his ban, and as part of our England v Belgium betting tips and predictions piece, we’re picking up to score his first England goal.

Ladbrokes also looked at the most likely 23-man squad England will take to Euro 2024 based on the bookies’ odds.

At the time of writing, England are currently the favourites, ahead of France, to win Euro 2024 in July of this year, with odds of 10/3.
