Premier League Betting Tips: Liverpool or Spurs to prevail?

After a delayed start, the games are coming thick and fast now in the Premier League, with six more matches coming our way tonight.
And among them is a humdinger as Liverpool host Tottenham. Will Jurgen Klopp’s reigning champions pull Jose Mourinho’s visitors down a peg or two? Or are Spurs the real deal this season?

Arsenal v Southampton (18:00)
The visit of high-flying Southampton probably isn’t what Arsenal and Mikel Arteta need, but that’s what they’ve got.
The Gunners, having made their worst start to a season in more than 45 years, are 5/4 for a much-needed win after picking up just one point from five games.
Southampton could be top of the table but for last month’s late collapse at home to Man Utd. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side are impressing on a weekly basis, and they’re just 21/10 for an away win.
Whether it’s Arsenal’s struggles or a drop in personal form, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has netted just two Premier League goals this season. The Gabon hotshot is 7/2 joint-favourite to score first, alongside Saints’ Danny Ings.
Leeds v Newcastle (18:00)
After a bright start, Leeds fans might be getting a touchy jittery after a run of four defeats in six games.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are odds-on to turn that around however, with 3/4 about the Whites collecting three points at home to Newcastle.
But Steve Bruce’s men have won their last two games, and despite missing a host of players this season, sit nicely in mid-table. The Toon Army are 7/2 for a third win on the spin, with a draw at 14/5.
Patrick Bamford is loving life in the Premier League this season, and is 3/1 to score the first goal, ahead of Callum Wilson at 9/2.
Leicester v Everton (18:00)
Both sides impressed at the weekend, with Leicester cruising to a 3-0 win over Brighton, while Everton dug deep to stunt Chelsea’s impressive run at Goodison. And with both harbouring top-four ambitions, this could be a cracker in the East Midlands.
Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes are 23/20 favourites, with Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees the 23/10 outsiders. Neither side can quite shake off a touch of inconsistency however, which could see them cancel each-other out, with a draw at 5/2.
Jamie Vardy is again challenging for the Golden Boot award with 10 goals this season. The Leicester number nine is 14/5 to score first, with James Maddison 10/1 to net the opener after his double at the weekend.
For Everton, g is 4/1 first goalscorer, with Richarlison at 7s. James Rodriguez looks set to miss out.
Fulham v Brighton (20:00)
This is a game both sides will be eager to take advantage of. But despite their superb performance and draw versus Liverpool on Sunday, Fulham remain the outsiders here at 19/10, with Graham Potters’ Seagulls the 6/4 favourites.
Seven of Brighton’s 10 points have come on the road, although they’ve only kept one clean sheet on their travels. Brighton to win and both teams to score is 4/1.
But if Scott Parker’s side can build on their showing against Liverpool, then they’ve got a real chance of climbing up the table. We’re 19/4 about Fulham to win and both teams to score, with Ivan Cavaleiro 6/1 to score first.
Liverpool v Tottenham (20:00)
If Jose Mourinho’s Spurs are the real deal this season, we’ll find out tonight at Anfield.
They may be above Liverpool in the table, but our traders have Jurgen Klopp’s reigning champions as 4/5 favourites tonight, having won all six home games so far this season.
Spurs, 10/3 shots, are unbeaten on the road, with a draw available at 14/5. Both teams have scored in each of the last three meetings at Anfield, and BTTS again is 3/5.
Somewhat surprisingly, Liverpool’s fixtures are averaging a league-high 3.75 goals this season, with eight of their 12 games featuring at least three goals. Over 2.5 goals is 8/13.
Mo Salah has already scored 10 times this season, and the Egyptian is 16/5 favourite to score first, ahead of Sadio Mane at 4/1.
Son Heung-min is also on 10 league goals for the campaign, with the South Korean 6/1 to score, behind the equally in-form Harry Kane at 9/2. Gareth Bale is 3/1 anytime having scored twice against Liverpool in the 2019 Champions League final.
West Ham v Crystal Palace (20:00)
Both of these sides are ticking along quite nicely, and each will fancy themselves to get a result in East London.
David Moyes’ Hammers are 21/20 for a fifth win in six games, with Palace at 16/5. We’ll be surprised if this one ends 0-0, with both teams scoring in each of the last six meetings. Both teams to score tonight is 3/4, and over 2.5 goals for the 10th time in 12 meetings is 19/20.
Tomas Soucek grabbed the opener for the Irons in the 2-1 win over Leeds on Friday, and the big Czech player is 15/2 to break the deadlock again. Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is on seven goals already this term, and is 12/5 anytime.
