Wednesday 29th April: What sport is on?

| 28.04.2020

There’s more International Racing and Darts on the way this Wednesday.

Here’s your one-stop guide to the day’s sporting line-up…

Over in America the evening racing comes from Will Rogers Downs and Tampa Bay (from 19:15 and 18:00 respectively) plus an overnight card into Thursday morning at Fonner Park from 00:21.

Before that though, there’s another smattering of cards from Down Under in the early hours of Wednesday, including meetings at Wagga, Cairns and Wyong.

Then in the afternoon we can enjoy more from Scandinavia, with meets from Aby, Bro Park and Solvalla among others.

And in Asia you can enjoy cards from Happy Valley (from 11:45), Kasamatsu (from 15:00) and Kanazawa (from 15:40) plus Oi and Sonoda.

Belarus’ league activities take a back seat this week, with a couple of Belarusian Cup games to take in on Wednesday afternoon.

Shakhter Soligorsk are odds-on at 10/11 to beat Dinamo Brest (14/5) in the first clash at 16:00, before BATE (3/10) host Slavia Moyzr (17/2) at 18:00.

It’s Group 13’s night in the PDC Home Tour, featuring Steve Beaton, Matthew Edgar, Callan Rydz and Carl Wilkinson.

Each of the quartet will fancy their chances in what could be a wide-open evening. Beaton is 1/2 to beat Rydz (3/2) in the opener at 19:30.

The match of the night could be the Bronzed Adonis’ contest with Edgar at 21:00, with Beaton 2/5 versus Edgar’s 9/5.

That’s joined in the evening by more from the Czech Premier League, with another five matches on the way, starting with Michael Ondo (2/7) versus David Rosi (12/5) at 19:00.

We’ve got more Esports on the way, with a host of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive clashes including fixtures in the ESL One: Road to Rio, ESL Meisterschaft and Svenska Elitserien leagues.

They’re joined by more from the DOTA WePlay!Pushka League, with FlyToMoon (3/2) taking on VP.Prodigy (1/2) in the first of three league games at 12:00.

And there’s a pair of leagues in action in League of Legends, including the Legends Pro League with Invictus Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix both at 5/6 to win their contest at 10:00.

The Supercars returns with a double header of a virtual Watkins Glen and a Virtual Montreal.

Shane van Ginsberg has featured strongly throughout this series, and should be a contender once again. He’ll be joined on the grid by three special guests, NASCAR Cup champion Joey Logano, Indy 500 winner Alex Rossi and Supercars legend two time champion Marcos Ambrose.

The Golden State and Cactus Tour events continue with outrights, Golden State 3-balls and Cactus 2-balls available on our sportsbook.

The Armenian Cup continues with 3 matches starting at 07:00, plus there’s more from the Six Red Spring Cup, with 10 matches scheduled to begin at 13:00.

Richard Marsh

Richard loves his sport, especially if it involves the sound of tyres screaming around a race track. He's not fussy though and his '90s Premier League nostalgia and knowledge of team nicknames is tough to match.
